Melyssa Cramer
Yoga Instructor
Mel began practicing yoga as a means to help address anxiety and mental health issues. After practicing for only a few months, she was hooked! She quickly signed up for her first teacher training program with Yoga Nest out of Venice, CA a few months later. This divine practice of yoga has helped Mel heal many wounds: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Mel brings an uplifting spirit to her teaching, with upbeat music to match the vibe of her power vinyasa flows. She enjoys challenging students physically, but also encourages and nurtures the need for students to listen to their bodies, and make the practice their own.
Along with yoga, Mel is also a level 3T Reiki Master, where she offers energy cleansing & healing to others. Her in-depth knowledge of the chakra system (our internal energy centers) and our energetic bodies, aids her even more deeply in her practice and teaching of yoga asana.
Mel resides in Lakeway with her husband and two pups, Daisy & Disco. She enjoys live music, dancing, cooking, and the simple pleasures of life: like sitting in the back yard, and watching the Texas sunset with a glass of kombucha.
Laura Sander
Yoga Instructor
Laura has been studying yoga and Pilates since 1998. As an athlete, she looked to yoga to bring harmony and balance to her mind and body. Almost simultaneously, she began studying and learning about Pilates.
After completing a vigorous teacher training program under Michelle Larson and Patrick O’brien, she started teaching Pilates in 2002.
Through Pilates, she learned the importance of stability and control along with flexibility and was able to incorporate all the Pilates principles into her yoga practice. She was amazed how complementary the two forms of neuromuscular exercise were.
She began teaching yoga in 2004 after completing the Level 1 and Level 2 teacher training program at The Chicago Yoga Center.
Today, she’s the owner and operator of Harmonylab where she teaches yoga therapy, sound baths, Pilates, and Reiki.
She teaches self-awareness and self-acceptance in the present moment. Laura believes these modalities have the extraordinary power to heal and feed the soul, and her classes integrate dynamic movement (linking movement with breath) with the application of precise alignment, meditation, visualization, intention and prayer to create an inner journey towards healing and empowerment.
Laura leads yoga and Pilates retreats around the world, and is currently working on her own teacher training program in both yoga and Pilates.
Laura is the mother of 4 beautiful children, and two dog children.
